On June 11, Harbin Electric International (HEI) convened its June Work Promotion Meeting & Special Promotion Meeting on Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement, fully implementing various deployment requirements from the group company's June work promotion meeting, focusing on annual key tasks, and pooling efforts to tackle critical challenges to sprint toward the first-half goal of "completing over half of the annual tasks by the end of the first half-year". Li Mo, Vice Chairman and General Manager of the company, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech, while members of the leadership team put forward specific work requirements in light of their respective assigned sectors.

The meeting emphasized the need to focus on the core orientation of value creation, solidly promote the company's sustainable and high-quality development, and continuously exert precise efforts in stabilizing operations, expanding markets, and ensuring contract fulfillment, sprinting with full strength to complete the goal of "completing over half of the annual tasks by the end of the first half-year". Firstly, the company must go all out to tackle market development and seize new orders. Continuous efforts must be made by closely watching projects with current signing potential, promoting the aggregation and integration of resources toward key annual projects, coordinating project bidding planning, optimizing bidding proposals, and improving the win rate of key projects to ensure the successful completion of the annual contract signing targets.
Secondly, the company must resolutely implement the "Six Guarantees" requirements and ensure solid project contract fulfillment. The main responsibility for production safety must be tightly compacted and consolidated, taking safety as the most critical prerequisite for contract fulfillment, and establishing a long-term mechanism to effectively cover the entire project lifecycle. The working mechanism for project contract fulfillment should be continuously deepened, while strengthening risk study, judgment, and disposal to steadily advance the execution of key projects such as Saudi Arabia Rumah 2 and Saudi Arabia Nairyah 2.
Thirdly, the company must push forward the "elimination of superficial management" in depth and successfully carry out special actions for lean management. Taking the "Year of Strengthening Capabilities and Infrastructure" as an important starting point, the company will continuously deepen actions against superficial management and for lean management, consolidating the foundation of internal management and bringing management improvements into practical effect.
Fourthly, the company must promote cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, and establish a long-term mechanism. Upholding the philosophy that "all costs are controllable", the company will strengthen cost control across all dimensions, stages, and cycles, deeply tap into the potential for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, and focus on summarizing and refining experiences to ensure the annual cost reduction and efficiency enhancement targets are completed as scheduled.
Fifthly, the company must establish and practice a correct outlook on political achievements, driving learning and education to go deeper and become more practical. All cadres and employees must further boost their spirits, take solid and concrete actions, and push forward various tasks to achieve tangible results with the "spirit of driving a nail", ensuring the smooth realization of the first-half goal of "completing over half of the annual tasks by the end of the first half-year" and laying a solid foundation for completing all annual tasks.
